As a wedding photographer, I love the idea of wedding banners. They add a great "prop" that couples can use that can be fun, and add something "extra" later on when they want to send thank you notes, announce their new name, or shout from the rooftops that they are MARRIED!
Some of my favorites form Etsy are below-- click on the photo to go to the listing!

I'm currently sitting here struggling with a major "invitation" question... To have RSVP cards (that guests send back) or not? There are so many options out there now-a-days... cards, postcards, calls, online RSVPs, etc.
Originally the plan was to do online RSVPs on the wedding website (that I'm self-hosting and that I designed, so I'm pretty flexible with that) but now that the day gets closer to sending things out, I'm questioning whether or not this is the right idea.
I know, without a doubt, that there will be people who won't send back the cards, who won't go online to RSVP, and will need to be called, but what is the better option?
The money that goes into RSVP cards is expensive-- the cards, the envelopes, the postage, the extra postage on the invitation envelope if it gets to heavy... online seems like a better option in the "money" sense. But is it too high tech? Is it not traditional enough?
I'd love your thoughts on this issue. What did you do/are you doing for your wedding? Positives? Negatives? Just thoughts in general? I'd love to hear from you!

Just like many other brides, I'm determined to look awesome in my wedding dress, and on our honeymoon as well. I'd love to do it in a healthy way, and as something I can maintain when I'm no longer a bride, but instead, a WIFE!
Here are a few links and articles that I've found helpful for my weight-loss program. I hope you find them helpful too!

Personally, I'm obsessed with the Disney/Pixar movie "Up." It's a beautiful love story, and, of course, beautifully made. And of course, being a love story, it has inspired many weddings themes!
Here are a few of my favorites from this engagement shoot:
And then they followed that with this Up inspired wedding:

One of the things that I'm the most excited about using in my wedding is mason jars! I love the "shabby chic" feel, and I especially love the total vintage feel of the blue mason jars! Since one of my "official" wedding colors is a light blue, it only seemed fitting to use blue mason jars. My grandmothers (and Ben, my fiance's grandmothers!) went on a "blue mason jar search" and found a bunch for us to use. I think they enjoyed the hunt!
Of course, if you wanted to use mason jars but wanted to stick with the clear ones, I think that would look just as cool--I even think we will have quite a few clear mason jars (of varying sizes!) around our reception.
Here are quite a few pictures of how others have used mason jars. I hope they serve as inspiration to you!
